FUNDRAISER!!! Mark your calendars students and parents. Our first annual Fine Arts Appreciation Night will be held in the MHS cafeteria on Tuesday, May the 6th from 6:30-9:00pm and will feature short performances by each of the performing arts, a visual art gallery, a silent auction and decadent dessert bar. The tickets are $5 at the door. The silent auction has some incredible items in it...Miyako gift certificates, movie passes, complete drivers ed package starting at only $200 ($380 value), autographed sports memorabilia, vacation packages, original artwork and much much more. Many of the donated items have been rounded up by art students traveling to Paris. 80% of the auction proceeds will go directly towards their trip expense. All artwork on display is eligible for bidding. There are some great pieces of artwork that would look great on your walls.
Please come out and support all of these students in their performances and displayed artwork, enjoy the decadent desserts and help support a great cause.
In other fundraising news, all of you who had students shucking candy and butter braids have raised over $3000 towards their EF trip to Paris. The more motivated students have raised as much as $300+ to shave off of their trip. There is still some candy left to sell so some of your students still have the possibility of raising money. Each box sold is $25.50 shaved off of their trip and most students sell a box per day or a box every other day. Easy money!!
